The Blue(s) Note(s)

News:

  1. On Saturday September 25, the Blues D1 will be at Rocky Gorge in Maryland; the Blues D3 side will travel to Rappahannock.
  2. On Saturday October 2 at Lafayette Park, the Blues D1 plays the Washington Irish; the Blues D3 side will host Virginia Beach. Game times are TBD.
  3. 15s practice is on Tuesdays and Thursday from 7-9pm at Cutter Park. No tryouts, just come out and play!
  4. The new USA Rugby registration cycle started on 9/1 and registration must be completed at https://usarugby.sportlomo.com/.
  5. The schedule is posted via the Schedule link.

Home games are at Lafayette Park at 38th and Granby Sts in Norfolk or at Captain Slade Cutter Park in Norfolk (watch the match announcements!).

Practice during the regular 15s season is at Captain Slade Cutter Park in Norfolk on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM – 9 PM.

Blues at Cape Fear

The Blues 7s team took 15 players to Cape Fear 7s on June 26-27; the team finished 2nd in their pool and qualified for the Championship bracket but lost in the quarter finals to Beltway Elite; coaches and leadership team are excited about getting the MAC 7s season underway
